Melbourne's Night Alive
Third Day's David Carr came onto Melbourne's Night Alive to tell Jesse everything about their new album coming out soon, Miracle.
Their latest single, I Need A Miracle, was "an eleventh hour miracle in itself" where the band had already thought they finished their album until the record company asked them to make some more songs. It was then that they heard an amazing story showing them the power of God through their music and through the radio.
In Melbourne's Night Alive, we're keeping up with the Joneses...or trying to, at least. Those Joneses have got themselves lost in some remote corner of Melbourne, and it's up to the Light FM listeners to find them.
Listner Zeph, however, seems to have his geography a bit muddled...
You're travelling, you're tired and you just want to collapse for the night in your hotel room...oh no! Your suitcase! You completely forgot about it!
Luckily, Jess found a suitcase that now connects to your phone via bluetooth and will follow you on its own! So if you really did just arrive at your hotel room when you remember your suitcase, just turn around and it will be there waiting at your heels!
Is this handy or just a little creepy? Listen in and decide for yourself!
We can be pretty strange folk here in Australia but probably not as weird as tourists think we are...
Jess found some real questions people from overseas have asked about Australia that shows just how upside down they think we are. Which way's north? What do we celebrate here? What do we speak here? What kind of wildlife do we have here? And just because we can, we've given them all sorts of answers that aren't likely to help their confusion!
Listen in to find out what image we're really projecting to the world!
