Hands at Work in Africa - Getting Personal with the Poor

George Snyman, co-founder of Hands at Work in Africa, joins Clayton in the studio to talk about doing something about the needs you see around you.

George tells us about how Christ changed his life, showing him the problems in his own community, rather than his own life, such as the isolated and dysfunctional villages that suffered from war, poverty and aids. He also tells us how reach out in a personal way. In some cases, this was as simple was washing some people in the poorer villages.

More than just music with Chris August

Chris August, American musician and a playlist favourite here at LightFM, joined Clayton today to talk about two very important parts of his life: his music and his faith. For Chris, the two are closely linked.

Christianity started to form a big part of Chris’ life at around the same time as music did when he was a teenager. This affected Chris on many levels, big and small, and he explains how this new-found faith even helped him overcome a common high school hurdle.

Reaching out with Sam Stynes

Sam Stynes, the wife of the late Victorian hero, Jim Stynes, joined Clayton today to talk about who he was, what he achieved in his life and his new memior, My Journey.

Shed Nights - A Safe Haven for Men!

Ian 'Watto' Watson, author of Every Bloke's a Champion and the man behind 'Shed Nights' joined the conversation this morning with Clayton Bjelan to talk about how the organisation came together.

Watto (your typical aussie bloke) shares how watching both his mother and sister pass away before the age of 24 impacted him and how he dealt with it on an emotional level.

The Flu that led to a Coma...

This morning I chatted to Jo Raymond, author of the book 'Awakening'.

Listen for free as Jo chats about her harrowing ordeal and how it has transformed the way she lives and the way she lives her Christian life.

Dr Gary Chapman - 5 Love Languages

With over 6 million copies of his book the "5 Love Languages" sold in English and also translated in over 38 other languages, Dr Gary Chapman has had a massive impact on millions upon millions of marriages and families around the world.

Sam Cawthorn - Survivor, Inspiring (and Practical Joker... on the PM!)

This morning I chatted to Sam Cawthorn - a Young Australian of the Year, a survivor of an horrific car crash, (pronounced dead at the scene, lost an arm) and yet has an incredible attitude to life!

Listen for free to hear Sam talk about his Bounce Forward theory, and make sure you listen out for him explaining how he pulled a practical joke on the Prime Minister at the Lodge!

Understanding Aspergers with Kate Johnson

With so much confusion around autism and aspergers syndrome, how are parents with a diagnosed child supposed to react?

Organ Donation - do you know the wishes of your family?

This morning I chatted with Margaret Bland, who sadly lost her son David suddenly at the age of 14.  Margaret and the family made the decision to donate David's organs - and 5 people have life because of that decision.

Listen for free to hear Margaret's story, including how Margaret and David had watched a TV show about organ donation not long before his passing.

Find out some info about organ donation here.
