Cass and Kel

Sadly, Cass & Kel will not be broadcasting together in 2013, as Cass moves on to bigger and better things!

A new show will be announced soon but in the meantime, you can revisit all your favourite segments right here! You can also like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Ride on!

Cassie's gotten herself into a bit of pickle!

When you say things like "If anyone can do that, I'll...I'll run a marathon" live on air, you run the risk of actually having to live up to that promise. And Cass learnt that the hard way! That's right, guess who's doing a marathon!

Before the end of the year, Cass is going to do a 70km ride in lycra.  Who's excited? We definitely are!!

Tune in to hear how this all came to be!

Debbie's Story

As Debbie and her family faced heart-wrenching news in October last year, it was a song played on Lightfm which re-affirmed her. She shares how Lightfm is integral to a balanced state of mind on a day-to-day basis. Listen to Debbie's story and her honest reflections as she remembers her Dad.

The Tragic Tale of the Moo-bile Phone

In this modern, tech-savvy world, there are so many inventive ways to lose your phone. One unfortunate farmer has done his best to outdo them all, as he managed to get his cullular telephone stuck...inside a cow.

As Cass and Kel discover (with exclusive audio from the scene), this results in an awkward retrieval mission for a certain vet.

The Week That Was - Baby (tomato) Joy

This week, on THE WEEK THAT WAS...

Cass joyously welcomes her newborn tomato plant shoots into the world, Kel decides that it's finally time to cut his lawn (but only after the family cat goes missing) and we discover the ultimate womanly pleasure scenario, complete with strawberries, foot massages and long, icky talks about feelings.

Cass the Cynic

Cass doesn't believe a lot of things we take for granted, Kel discovered. Snowflakes and fingerprints are all unique? Well, says Cass, we simply don't have enough data to prove that. Another big one - it's IMPOSSIBLE to lick your own elbow. But Cass is SO SO close! Can you like your own elbow? Cass is on the hunt. Tune in to hear how it goes!

Computers for Girls

Computers - they're boxy and edgy and technical and ...well, guy-ish. Where are the computers for the girls? Trust Cass to find one, right? The "Floral Kiss" is here to make you look great and has all the best features to make sure your nails aren't chipped and your head's not boggled by all the unnecessary stuff. Another great feature that's been so far unreleased is its shut down mode. Don't know what that is? Tune in to find out!

Too Young For Homework?

Children all across Melbourne and Victoria, rejoice! There's been a study proving that homework isn't beneficial for primary aged students. A study proved that - how ironic! Anyway, Cass and Kel want to know how true this is so parents and teachers called and SMS'd in to let them know how important they think homework is. The verdict? Listen in to find out!

The Secrets of Growing Up with Jennifer Cummins

What influences kids more - nature or nurture?

Jennifer Cummins, the producer of the ABC show Life at 7, joins Cass and Kel to talk about just that. Life at 7 is a televised social experiment that follows children growing up in different situations and lifestyles to examine how they develop their social skills and adapt to the world around them.

Listen in to Cass and Kel to hear how the families on the show handle to the film crews and what they think about it!

Use It or Lose It

Want to keep your wits around you? We've all heard how to do it as we get older, haven't we? Puzzles, sudoku and the like - they're meant to keep our brains healthy but a new study shows that instead of straining your brains like that, you could just go outside for a walk! Listen in for Cass and Kel's intense brain bootcamp to see how else you could train your brain!

Know What To Mow

It's majority rules time! And today, we have a new age question.

In the old days, it was an unspoken agreement between neighbours to mow the whole nature strip if you're out there doing your own bit. But now, with neighbours who are pretty much strangers, does this rule still apply or does the fence divide more than just the land?

It's a tough one but if you need a conclusive answer, Cass and Kel have found out what Melbourne thinks!
